MACH SPEED MELEE LOG 1


Hello Everybody. I just wanted to make a quick update about what is going on with MACH SPEED MELEE.


I have been focusing on improving all of the bad parts of MACH SPEED MELEE. And I have a lot of new things to show too! I have created two new levels that work as a regular "Campaign" level would work, there is a start and a finish. This next update will introduce many things including two new enemies. A boss that challenges your skill and a AOE enemy that disrupts the area around it.

In the screenshots, the first one shows a bar on the left. That is the new way to heal. When you hit enemies with a Melee attack. The bar increases and you can heal from it by tapping "Q". It is split into thirds which each heal a seperate amount. The bottom third heals very little. The middle is used for healing back a hit or two. And the top third is used for a full heal. This is much better than before.

The second screenshot shows the two levels that will be launched in the next update and the levels that are planned to come after.

The third screenshot shows the new style meter and system. You need to perform unique combos to increase your style multiplier and quickly kill demons to keep the meter going.


Some changes I've made to make MACH SPEED MELEE better are:

- The first level you will play will act as a second tutorial explaining most of MACH SPEED MELEE's combat and everything I left unexplained.

- All projectiles are faster and should hit consistantly.

- Drill has been changed to be much more suited for the combat style of MSM.

- Combat and Movement are much more snappy and feel much better.

- All animations for the Hammer are faster and less annoying to wait through.

- Bug fixes and Optimizations but we all know that because I added new stuff a million more bugs will pop up.


I hope this new update will fix the problems in MACH SPEED MELEE and make the game in general much more fun and replayable.

I might release the update in September, but at latest, October 1st.
