New Level Design


Hey everybody. Back with a little update on MACH SPEED MELEE. I have gotten back to working on it and I have a bunch of stuff I need to fix and learn about. One thing I am really working to fix is level design.  MACH SPEED MELEE's levels aren't anything to write home about. I want to change that.

I have added Launch Vents which boost the player into the air for easier movement around the arenas. I've also changed the player physics too to make this even better.

I've recently learned about level design and I think having linear + non-linear levels would be best for MSM. So, I have redone the newest level with secret tunnels you can find and overall just better level + arena design. The level also is much more vertical, like a real cave. The old levels were very flat so, again. Trying to learn from my mistakes.



Of course this is all early in development and may change, but I just wanted to update you guys with what I've been working on.
